Port Job. On the afternoon of September 28, 2022, Kansas City Southern 2977(GP40-3, née-KCS 797, GP40-2, EMD, 2/1981), 2899 (GP40-3, née-DRGW 3108, GP40-2, EMD, 12/1972) and 2911 (née-CN 9488, GP40-2LW, EMD, 9/1974) head down the the waterfront in Gulfport, Mississippi to make one of their daily interchanges with the marine terminal. The train is seen approaching the former Gulf & Ship Island Railroad Office with the Gulfport commercial district in the background. With the merger date with Canadian Pacific Railway looming but still unknown, there is no time like the present to catch these classic "belle" and "ghost" painted standard cab units.
