Slow For The S-Curve. Canadian Pacific Train G53 (CP 2211, GP20C-ECO leading) was approaching the yard in Fort Edward, New York and the end of its run from Glens Falls on Monday, November 28, 2022 as it rolled around the corner near Culver Street. As the crew called for permission to return to Whitehall, New York, they were told to wait as they had run into a beehive of activity, including the CP Holiday Train, 2 road freights, and Amtrak 290, an unusually busy day on this line. Train G53 is one of several local freights that still work CP's former Delaware & Hudson Railway on a regular basis.
