Dusk Arrival. As the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolled in to Port Henry, New York at dusk on Monday, November 28, 2022 (2246, GP20C-ECO, EMD leading) a substantial crowd was on hand to welcome its return, the first since 2019. In the foreground, the Lake Champlain and Moriah Railroad is commemorated by the engine, ore car, and caboose in this display. (The engine displayed as Lake Champlain & Moriah Railroad 20 was built in July 1958 by MLW (RS18), became Canadian Pacific Railway #8794/1800, and did not operate for the LC&M RR). The crowds would be treated to a musical performance during the event.
