Diesel In Third Rail Territory. After passing through CP 212 on track 1, MTA Metro-North Railroad GP35R 103 (ex-Conrail, exx-PC 2251, née-PRR 2310, 11/1964) leads the disabled set under the former catenary support near Nereid Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood of the Bronx, New York on Thursday, November 10, 2022. The set is being transported from Stamford, Connecticut to the Croton Harmon Shops for repair. In the New Haven Railroad era, trains at this location operated on overhead wire power, this has since been changed to third rail territory and the change occurs west of the Pelham Station.
