Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific Railroad's Davidson Yard features several sets of power working the hump yard at one time, as the yard is that large. One of those sets on this day was UP "snoot" SD40-2 (UP calls them SD40Ns now) 1613 (the former UP 3372), teamed with UPY RP20BDs 2626 and 2613. (UP calls these RP20BDs "RP20GEs," as UP is apparently unable to use the builders' model designations for some reason.) All three of these locomotives are extremely clean! (Fort Worth, Texas – October 16, 2011). Photographed on railroad property with permission and full PPE.
