Coney Island's Wonder Wheel is a great location to get a view of lower Brooklyn, including the skyline of lower Manhattan across the East River. And, it is also a great perch from which to see the MTA's subways, too, as they arrive and depart the Coney Island Station. One of the system's Q Second Avenue/Broadway Express/Brighton Locals, comprised of eight Kawasaki R68A cars, is departing the station, just to the left (out of the shot) to begin its trip to 96th Street on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Plus, we got to entertain the grandkids while taking subway photos, too, as they love the Wonder Wheel! (Brooklyn, New York – October 10, 2022)
