Steamlocomotive D 1/3 # 1 "Limmat" of SBB Historic is a replica built in 1947 by the SLM and the industrial work of the SBB in Zürich for the 100 years anniversary of the first railway in Switzerland. The original locomotive of 1847 was built by Emil Kessler in Germany for the Schweizerische Nordbahn (SNB) from Baden to Zürich, but was scrapped in 1882 already. On the weekend of october 15/16 the locomotive made several trips between Koblenz and Laufenburg with the cars of the "Spanisch-Brötli-Bahn", which were new built in 1947, too.
