This photo for me is a constant reminder for me that in no time landscapes can change, a station I would spend hours at with my grandparents when I was little looks nothing like it does now, due to the construction for the addition of the third mainline track which allows more service for the upcoming Grand Central Madison Station opening. Here we are late 2022 and the stretch of third track between Floral Park and Hicksville is now complete, crossings are gone, NASSAU tower gone, the Pennsylvania signals are history. Enjoy what you have folks because one can, it can change in a blink of an eye!
