A Fair Paint Job. NYCT R-10 3189 has recently had a 5 year restoration completed at the 207 Street Shops. It was repainted in its 1964-65 World’s Fair blue and white livery, which was seen on a number of R-10 cars from 1965 until the early 1970s. This car has a unique experimental seating arrangement and survived after retirement as a training car. It is seen passing through the 181 Street Subway Station in New York, New York on Friday, September 16, 2022, and will be making its debut on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the NY Transit Museum “Parade Of Subways” event.
