| The Rocky Mountaineer leaves Denver and the Big Ten Curve behind, charging up the grade into Tunnel 1 and the incredible engineering of the Tunnel District on its run to the Moffat Tunnel and beyond. It was a pleasant surprise to see the GP40s show up the day before to complete the look of what is undoubtedly a very sharp looking train. From the "Rockies to the Red Rocks" it will overnight in Glenwood Springs before leaving for Moab in the morning. |
