Remarks & Notes

Bursol is a shallow salt lake. Its main feature is that the color of the water changes depending on the weather. Therefore, the lake is called Pink and even Crimson. In the middle of the lake there is a special installation that scoops salt deposits from the bottom. A small combine harvester powered by diesel delivers salt deposits to the shore from the middle of the reservoir along the rails.
