Some afternoon storms in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin stay north of Converse Junction—for now—as a southbound BNSF coal train approaches the empty junction on June 24, 2022. The train is on the four-track main line, while the five tracks in the foreground lead to the coal loader at Antelope Mine.
