NS 6815 leads 238 into Columbia, South Carolina in 2015. It was built as Burlington Northern 9208 in 1989, then sold to Norfolk Southern not long before this photograph was made. NS sold her to K&K Recycling in 2019.
This is a train from Atlanta to Charleston, SC but it has been rerouted through Charlotte on account of a washout on the rail line it normally uses after a massive rainfall earlier that month. |
