Antelope & Western #1 on the loop. In the early morning of the final day of the July, 2022 "Great Western Steam-Up" at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, the little Antelope & Western #1, a narrow gauge, wood-fired, 0-4-0T, was given clearance to take the museum's dual-gauge loop and run some laps. Until that time, she had been restricted to running back and forth on one of the engine house tracks. Here, we see her blowing for the crossing at the museum's entrance road. Note that this engine sports a tender, whereas historic photos of this or similar engines appear to be more traditional 0-4-0Ts which carried the fuel supply in the cab. I did not get an opportunity to talk to the crew about whether or not this tender contains a water supply that is in addition to the saddle tank. It appears to carry fuel only.
