Remarks & Notes
A repowered American Locomotive engine sits at CMC Steel in Cayce, South Carolina. This is a repowered America Locomotive Company (Alco) S2 originally bought in October 1946 for the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac as RFP #58. It was later sold to the Laurinburg & Southern as LRS #132. This motr relaced the EMD end cabs seen in the background. But some time later, it was returned to the leasor.... and replaced by an EMD end cab.
