| "Schoolcar Though the Rockaway Line Safari"
On the morning of July 26th, 2022, A New York City Transit "Schoolcar" training train consisting of a 5-car Bombardier R179 consist treks south through the densely overgrown right-of-way on the IND Far Rockaway Line at Aqueduct Racetrack. Schoolcar gives new train operators the opportunity to run different types of equipment over the road in non-revenue service before they run said equipment in revenue service with passengers.
