1th of august is Swiss National Day, the trains of the Rigibahnen are adorned with flags of Switzerland, cantons of Lucerne and Schwyz. An there is "Rigi Historic XXL Day", with most of the historic vehicles running up and down the mountain.Two train are running parallel down the mountain between Rigi Kulm and Rigi Staffel, one to Vitznau, the other to Arth Goldau. Red railcar BDhe 4/4 # 5 0f 1965 has cars B # 15 of 1899 and B # 14 of 1902 in tow, the blue/white railcar BDhe 2/4 # 7 of 1925 is on the way with car B # 33 of 1875.
