| Two "Traverso" trains of the Südostbahn (SOB) in multiple control are running the IR 2417 "Treno Gottardo" of the line IR 46 from Zürich over the Gotthard mountain line to Locarno over the middle Meienreuss bridge in Wassen. RABe 526 # 219/119 and # 216/116 are running this train. The second "Traverso" will uncouple in Göschenen, because the platforms on most stations in the Leventina are too short for this 300 meter long train. The train is reinforced for the transport of scouts on the way to the large camp "Mova" in Ulrichen/Valais. The participants will travel from Göschenen to Andermatt by post car or trains of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, from Andermatt to Ulrichen by extra trains of the MGBahn. |
