On June 30, 2022, CSX Train M363 had a dozen flat cars with former MTA cars going for scrap on the head end, 6 MTA LIRR M3s and 6 Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA NYCT Subway R-32s, with car 3575 leading the group. This was an ironic and bittersweet trip for the R-32s, who made their first appearance on September 9, 1964, operating from the New York Central Railroad's Mott Haven Yards in the Bronx to Grand Central Terminal. The train is seen passing the former New York Central Buffalo Central Terminal in Buffalo, New York, which recently received a $61 million package to aid in its restoration.
