Locomotive Rc1 # 1021 of Trafikverket in Kiruna. Only 20 of the Rc1 type were built by ASEA in 1967/1968. In 2013/2014 most were withdrawn and scapped afterwards. # 1007 was sold to Sveriges Järnvägsmuseum (Swedish Railway Museum) in Gävle in 2014 and restored to the style around 1978 with the SJ mark. With it, the # 1021 was acquired by the museum to preserve spare parts. In the spring of 2016, it was determined that the locomotive would be restored and used for Trafikverket's internal transport tasks. Thus, the orange painted # 1021 replaced its sister locomotive # 1007 (in the original paint scheme), which could not come to Kiruna due to a defect.
