Engulfed in an atmosphere of pure mountain railroading, KN37 shoves hard on the rear of 110 car loaded coal train KN33 with 4 former NS SD60s doing the honors at Harper, WV. The train is drawing ever closer to its final destination in Mullens, WV, but for the time being it will continue to dig in along the grades of the former Virginian Railroad Deepwater district. Kanawha River Railroad (KNWA), a Watco company operates this section of former NS trackage between Deepwater, WV and Mullens, WV, where trains are handed off to NS.
