Interurban PCC. Pittsburgh Railways Company 1711 (St. Louis Car Company, 1949) is one of 25 cars ordered for the company’s longer routes. After being removed from service in 1990, the car was transported to the BarrCannon Body Company in Meadowlands, PA and later Adtranz (now Bombardier) where the exterior was repaired and the interior was restored to the original 1949 appearance. The car appeared in the in the 3:00 PM: “Pittsburgh and Western PA” trolley parade at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
