A&M ALCO's in 2022: After a derailment on the Fort Smith bridge in early May stranded 3 for A&M's SD70's, the ALCO C420's were pressed back into road service. Also having disrupted traffic flow on the A&M, the derailment prompted some unusual movements. This included a rare daylight Fort Smith Turn, moving UP interchange traffic to clear up space in Springdale Yard. Here, the EMD/ALCO trio blasts upgrade at Winslow, the about to crest A&M's grade thru the Boston Mountains.
