| The TAG # 8 is a 2-6-4 T steamlocomotive that was procured by Krauss-Maffei in 1943 with the serial number # 16317 for the private railroad corporation Tegernsee-Bahn Betriebsgesellschaft (Tegernsee-Bahn Aktiengesellschaft TAG) for operation on the Schaftlach-Tegernsee rail line as the company's last steam locomotive. The Krauss-Lotter frame of the electrolocomotive E 79 # 02 was used for its body, and so the construction considered a rebuild. It was in service until 1970. After that, it was set up as a monument at a scrap yard in Munich. It has belonged to the Bavarian Railroad Museum in Nördlingen since 1986 and is not operational.
