Special Schemes. Amtrak Train 48 (Lake Shore Limited) was on time as it passed through the Metro-North Railroad Riverdale Station in the Bronx, New York on Thursday, June 2, 2022. The back-to-back pair of AMTK 711 (P32AC-DM, Phase III) and 108 (P42DC, Phase VI, 50th Anniversary) was unusual for this area. Also noteworthy was the presence of a P42 diesel, as these runs are normally held down by the dual mode P32s.
