Remarks & Notes
Richmond Fredericksburg and Potomac train Extra 123 South crawls out of the railroad’s "Pot Yard" (the nickname for their Potomac Yard) behind a pair of GP40s (123 and 122) and a GP40-2 (142). The RF&P operated from 1836 until 1991, when it became part of CSX Transportation. (Alexandria, Virginia – September 12, 1986) Douglas G. Walker Photograph, Craig Walker Collection
