Remarks & Notes
Four fours
An eastbound Soo Line intermodal train zips through Duplainville, Wisconsin, led by a locomotive with a lot of fours—Soo Line EMD GP38-2 No. 4444—on April 15, 1997. In 1990, Canadian Pacific gained full control of Soo Line and began slowly integrating the railroad, as can be seen by trailing former Soo GP38-2 No. 4406, in the then-current CP Rail “Duel Flags” scheme.
