Remarks & Notes |
A San Juan Del Rio, Mexico, bound grain train is in heavy braking as they roll south out of Stillwell on the Heavener Sub. The train is dropping down a heavy grade from Stillwell to Cave Springs, around 10 miles. The railroad stays pretty much dropping down grade all the way to Sallisaw, a total of 33 miles. The railroad tops out at Stillwell at 1148 feet and drops all the way down to 497 feet just east of Sallisaw.
