I posted another picture from this same location taken a few days earlier, and it was completely different. Here we have a short train and hazy late afternoon light, not to mention cows. The location is the west approach to Brazos bridge on the former SP branch from Suisun to Schellville, where SP interchanged with the NWP. This segment is now owned by commuter operator SMART, but only sees freight trains. Today the interchange is east of here at Lombard with the Cal Northern to connect through to the UP at Suisun.
