Union Pacific SD60M 6186, teamed with a Southern Pacific B36-8E (SP 8003), an SP SD40T-2 and a UP SD60M, rolls its eastbound intermodal train through the Amtrak station as it exits the Mojave Narrows. From this angle, it becomes obvious why the UP decided to return to the winged logo on their diesels' noses. (Victorville, California – July 3, 1998)
