| Santa Fe seemed to derive more longevity out of its power than many roads - that yielded an interesting assortment of power. The road also seemed to have a fondness for four axle power that lasted into the early BNSF years. Although the Gallup Sub is CTC territory, trains often keep to the left account prevailing grades on the district. Here a set of GP30s and a CF7 roll manifest eastbound at Laguna, NM as snow squalls move across Chico's land. |
