Remarks & Notes

BN 9901 was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudson from CB&Q 9938 for commuter service between Chicago and Aurora, IL. CBQ 9938A was built in December 1949 as an E8A. It was acquired by Illinois Central in 1995 becoming IC 100 for use on their executive train. In this photo it is operating in push service departing La Grange Road toward Chicago.
