Santa Fe Railway’s flagship freight train, the hot Super C, has just begun its daily high-speed trip from Los Angeles to Chicago with a load of piggyback trailers on flat cars. One of the Railway’s Bicentennial engines, SD45-2 5700, is leading train 891 this day, teamed with three more SD45-2s, passing the former ATSF, now Amtrak, passenger station.
