Ge 4/4 # 81 (or BB # 81) of the Blonay-Chamby Railroad Museum, built in 1916 for the Bernina Railway as Ge 2x3/3 # 81, as guest on the former home rails, is pulling the "Bernina Winterzauber" train from St.Moritz to Alp Grüm (-Stablini), around the 180 degree horseshoe curve in Stablini with a radius of 45 meter only, with the east peak of the Piz Palü (3883 meter a.s.l.) and Piz Caral (3429 m) in the background. The cars are third class C # 32 and C # 66, baggage F # 4 and covered freight car K # 5342, all rebuilt by Club 1889. The photo is a free interpretation of a very well known about 90 years old black and white picture (photo Albert Steiner, St.Moritz), with the same locomotive at the same place with the view to Piz Palü. When the "BB 81" ran through this curve on february 13th, 2022, this was the very first time since about 1964 (unassisted).
