UP 928 leads UP's "Old Timers Special" deadhead movement through Tacoma en route to Seattle where it will be loaded for an excursion through the Columbia Gorge, over the Blue Mountains and into Idaho and back. The trailing unit is UP E9 no. 951 repainted for the Preamble Express which celebrated the US Bicentennial in 1976. It would lead the southbound movement of the OTS out of Seattle.
