BNSF Railway train V-SBDSDG4-11A is mere feet away from completing its run on Metrolink’s Olive Sub, and is about to transition on to Metrolink’s Orange Sub at CP Maple. This will be the third subdivision it has traveled upon this trip (BNSF’s San Bernardino Sub was the first), and once it crosses into San Diego County it was operated on its fourth sub, San Diego Northern’s San Diego Sub. The train, consisting of nothing but empty autoracks, is headed to San Diego from Barstow, with a pair of ET44C4s, 3684 and 3755, for power. (Orange, California – February 11, 2022)
