I was fortunate enough to hitch a short ride with the Milwaukee Road crew in F7A 68C while they started putting their train together in Eau Claire. This fireman side view shows the east end of their yard, Barstow St. crossing, a small grain elevator and vintage buildings in the area. The only thing left today is Barstow St. The rest has been torn down or removed and is undergoing redevelopment. No evidence the MILW existed except for their bridge across the Chippewa River (not in view) which is now a walk bridge.
