A five-unit set of Santa Fe GPs (ATSF GP30 3249 leading other GP30s and GP35s) leads a westbound freight through Cajon Pass’ Summit in a raging snowstorm. This train will be encountering snow all the way down Cajon’s descent into San Bernardino, with flakes even falling in that city’s outskirts. (Cajon Pass, California – January 28, 1979)
