Union Pacific train LOA32 has just jumped on to Metrolink's Orange Sub as it passes through the Anaheim Regional Intermodal Center (ARTIC, the city's Amtrak, Metrolink and bus depot) as it makes its way from the UP's West Anaheim Yard to Santa Ana. UP GP40P-2 1375 (ex-SP 7602, née-SP 3199) and GP60 1083 (ex-UP 1953, née-SSW 9651) will pull their 8-car train from CP College, just beyond the CA-57 Freeway that it is passing under, about 5½ miles on the Orange Sub to just beyond Santa Ana's Regional Transportation Center (that city's Amtrak, Metrolink and bus depot), and then hop off Metrolink and back onto the UP's Santa Ana Industrial Lead for another 6½ miles to switch an industrial center in the southern part of Santa Ana, near Costa Mesa.
