What a difference a day makes: Yesterday, it was 79ºF and today it is just 68ºF at this time. Union Pacific local LOA32, and 11 car train behind GP40P-2 1375 (ex-SP 7602, née-SP 3199) and GP60 1083 (ex-UP 1953, née-SSW 9651), makes its way down Metrolink’s Orange Sub to Santa Ana, at which point it jumps back to UP trackage to continue its trip to … Santa Ana. Admittedly, a different part of Santa Ana that isn’t along the Metrolink line and has a lot of industries. (Orange, California – January 12, 2022)
