For celebrating 125 years operation on the Gotthard line (openend in 1882), a doubleheaded steam train run from Erstfeld to Bellinzona. 4-6-0 express train steamlocomotive A 3/5 # 705, which was leading the consist, was not a mountain locomotive, but for fast passenger trains on lower grades, but 2-10-0 C 5/6 # 2978 "Elephant", the second engine, was especially built for freight trains on the Gotthard. After arrival in Bellinzona on this day with enduring rain, both locomotive are moving back to the depot.
