Eat, Drink and Be Merry! With just enough snow on the ground to set the mood for the season, Naugatuck Railroad 686 (née-NW 686, GP9, 3/1959) is getting ready to lead the final Railroad Museum of New England Litchfield Hills BBQ & Whiskey Train of the season on the night of Thursday, December 9, 2021. The former New Haven Railroad Line has seen a resurgence in recent years with heavily patronized tourist trains and local freight service. Seasonal events such as the BBQ & Whiskey, Chocolate Decadence, and Holiday Spirits Express are especially popular for their unique menus to accompany the journey.
