AZER out of Clifton Arizona Eastern's Clifton turn climbs the stiff 2%+ grade out of Clifton Arizona. The spectacular desert mountain railroad is chisled out of the cliffs high above the Gila River. The head-end of the train has a cut of boxcars filled copper ingot. Much of the copper ingot moves to the wire fabricating foundry at Globe, AZ.
