Remarks & Notes
BLS Cargo has decided to stop using the Re 4/4 (Re 425) in freight traffic as of the timetable change on December 12, 2021. They will still be used for about 3 years in the car transport trains through the Lötschberg summit tunnel and the Simplon tunnel. On November 23, 2017, the locomotives Re 4/4 # 188 "Naters" (built in 1975) and # 195 "Unterseen" (built as the last of the series in 1983) in multiple control, still equipped with the coats of arms, pull the Ambrogio Intermodal train 41603 from Neuss Hessentor/Germany via Lötschberg-Simplon to Gallarate (Busto Arsizio Terminal)/Italy near Bollodingen towards the Alps. # 188 was discarded in June 2020, # 195 is still in service today.
