Remarks & Notes
Bright fuchsia and ultramarine wraps appeared on three coaches used in Amtrak’s Winter Park Express ski train service in 2018, advertising the Amtrak’s WPE and 2018 season sponsor, Lyft. From January through March, this train operates from Denver to Winter Park, Colorado, for the benefit of area skiers and the Winter Park Ski Resort. On the morning of January 20, 2018, after dropping skiers off at the ski area, the 8-car train heads down to Fraser, where the locomotives are run around the train for the trip back to Denver in the afternoon. Receiving the bright wraps are Superliner II coach No. 34137, Superliner coach-baggage No. 31024 and Superliner coach 34057.
