The Beer Railroad: Digging through old photos, it seems that in my youth, I spent lots of time at the "Manny", which was owned by the Anheuser-Busch brewery in South St. Louis. MRS was a neat little industrial operation with a rich history. This summer afternoon, the shop hostlers move some power at the MRS engine house. 255 always stood out as the only unit that didn't receive the silver frame/trucks treatment, that would change in later years and 255 would match the rest of the fleet.
