Remarks & Notes
Association "La Traction", based in Pré-Petitjean in the swiss Jura mountains on the Jura Railways (Chemin de fer de Jura, CJ, 1 meter gauge), owns two Mallet steam locomotives, both purchased from the CP in Portugal. The little smaller engine G 2x2/2 (0-4-4-0) E # 164, purchased in 1992, operational again since 1999, is accelerating her train after a stop with a simulated train robbery by 4 "bandits" on horses in the middle of the forest. The locomotive was built in 1905 by Henschel & Sohn in Cassel/Germany as MD # 404 and was withdrawn in Portugal in 1978.
