After spending most of the day north in Chattanooga, K444-06 (Chicago,IL/CN-Lawrenceville,GA) is climbing out of the Etowah River Valley as it enter into the town of Emerson, GA on the CSX Western & Atlantic Sub. As usual due to the lack of crews the only train that K444 had to meet was a northbound Q580 in the community of Kingston, GA just north of the line, so pretty much it was smooth sailing for the key train to Atlanta, GA.
