Gotthard mountain line by night at Wassen in the Reuss valley, with the catholic Saint Gallus church of 1735.When you travel on this line, you can see the church three times from the different levels of the loops around Wassen. The light traces of trains can be seen left from the church, before the Wattinger loop tunnel. In the middle around Wassen station and towards the middle Meienreuss bridge. In the foreground round the curve to the Strahlloch tunnel. On the right, along the valley slope, towards Göschenen on the uppermost level. The light traces behind the church are from vehicles on the highway A2.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
