Remarks & Notes
The 0900 Silverton Steam Train is pulling out of Hermosa after adding Southern Pacific 18, which will serve as the helper engine to Silverton. The oil-fired No. 18 was restored by the Carson & Colorado Railway and is normally kept at the Eastern California Museum in Independence. During the summer of 2021 it was leased to the Durango & Silverton and used as a helper engine. The D&SNG is converting most of its fleet to burn oil in an effort to mitigate fire danger.
